When we developed theOncaShellfabric we decided that it should be highly breathable, as it is intended for active hunting. When we developed the OncaShell fabric we decided that it should be highly breathable, as it is intended for active hunting. That is why we renounce laminating our fabrics with membranes such as PTFE or PU; these membranes are windproof and waterproof, but limit breathability when exercising.
WARMTH AND HUMIDITY TRANSFER
The inner fleece layer provides great thermal comfort, as it keeps a sufficient amount of air trapped that is heated by the body. The outer fabric attached to an inner membrane on the torso keeps us dry. This combination ensures the transfer of condensation generated by the activity inside the garment to the next layer or to the outside.
The OncaShellfabric allows us to maintain thermal comfort during our stalks, since the structure of the outer fabric is very closed and has a large percentage of windproof effect. In addition, we incorporate a hydrophilic membrane on the torso which increases protection against the wind without sacrificing breathability.
OurOncaShellfabric has a DWR treatment creating a surface layer that reduces the contact surface of the water drops with the fabric, causing the drops to slip.
RESISTANCE TO SNUGS AND TEARS
The highly closed structure of the outer fabric makes the Oncashellfabric extremely resistant to snags and tears.
TheOncaShell fabric is elastic and together with the anatomical design of the jacket allows us excellent mobility. To this we must add its ventilation zippers and the feel of the fleece inside that make this jacket a very comfortable garment.
