OncaShell Ibex Pants

The OncaShell Pants are built with a unique process by Onca. OncaShell is designed to be used as an outer layer. It is good for cold weather conditions during active wear. The OncaShell fabric will keep your body protected from the wind, shower rains and sweat due to its high transpiration capability.

OncaShellis our softshell fabric developed by Onca. It is used for the Jacket, Vest, Pants and Cap. The fabric is 100% Polyester composed of 2 layers: Polyester outer and fleece liner.

When we developed the OncaShell fabric we were clear that it should be highly breathable as it is intended for use in active hunting. For this reason, we renounce the use of PTFE or PU type membranes since these membranes, although they guarantee the windproof and waterproof function, limit breathability when exercising.

WARMTH AND HUMIDITY TRANSFER

The inner fleece layer maintains an amount of air in a controlled volume that is heated by our body, providing thermal comfort. The Teflon base makes water droplets slide off the fabric, preventing them from penetrating the fabric. Although it is not waterproof, you will avoid getting wet while walking through wet vegetation or under the occasional rain.

The OncaShell fabric is capable of holding a large amount of air in a controlled volume; this air is heated by our body and in turn gives us heat. Thanks to its high wicking fibers, sweat is transported quickly to the outer layer of fabric, which helps to keep your body dry.

WATER REPELLENT

OncaShell We have developed a powerful Teflon based water repellent that is extremely durable. The Teflon base makes water droplets slide off the fabric, preventing them from penetrating the fabric. Although it is not waterproof, you will avoid getting wet while walking through wet vegetation or under the occasional rain.

RESISTANCE TO SNUGS AND TEARS

The closed structure and mesh construction of the outer Oncashellfabric makes it highly resistant to tearing and snagging. Vegetation that typically punctures and snags your gear will just slide over the surface.

CONFORT

We developed the softshell fabric with a slight stretch for added freedom of movement. This, together with its high breathability, wicking the properties and warmth will help you have a comfortable hike.
